UniteLabs brings automation solutions to life science research facilities shaping the future of health, food, energy and science. We are looking for an engineering/IT expert with life science experience to design, plan and manage UniteLabs’ automation solutions.

What a Solution Architect at UniteLabs does:

  • Interacting with customers to understand the software and hardware requirements for the solution
  • Designing solutions based on UniteLabs’ offering and information collected at the customer site
  • Writing attractive quotes and project specifications
  • Customer project management
  • Supporting the sales team in transforming the customer requirements into solutions
  • Supporting the product development team with customer feedback

Talent we’re looking for: If you tick these boxes, you’re the right person

  • You have 3+ years of work experience or at least a Master's degree in an interdisciplinary field between IT and Life Science, such as: bioinformation technology, bioinformatics, computational biology or biomedical engineering
  • Or alternatively you have basic qualifications in Engineering and Life Science: 2+ years of work experience or at least a Bachelor’s degree both in Engineering (e.g. computer science, software engineering, automation, robotics, electrical engineering, information technology) and in Life Sciences (e.g. microbiology, pharmacology, biotechnology, bioengineering, molecular biology)
  • Highly motivated self-starter, someone who is willing to dive in, investigate and gather the necessary information to find solutions to present challenges
  • Excellent analytical skills and a drive to understand the customer and the application
  • Project and resource management skills
  • Outstanding communication and writing skills in English
  • Organised working style and a desire to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
