Looking for a kick-ass UX strategist who lives and breathes B2C product design from a consumer perspective. Experience of the online product marketplace sector highly beneficial, particularly for high-importance products (houses, cars, travel, jobs).
Our marketplace UX concept is paradigm-shifting, focusing on enabling the customer to efficiently undertake a multi-step and interactive process of discovery and product preference understanding - as opposed to the traditional one-step search or filter approach. We achieve this by combining chat / NLP, search, recommender systems, and a whole new UX approach, resulting in an AI-driven agent for search.
There is a team and a fully-functional prototype in place, and we are now iterating based on a clear venture plan for the coming 12-18 months.

The AIV team is developing an AI Search Assistant for product marketplaces, based around a new Conversational Interface concept and a user-centric recommender approach. Probably you are now thinking "oh, another chatbot using a collaborative recommender system" - but nothing could be further from the truth!
