Neology is developing a holistic solution for hydrogen storage and distribution, enabling the transition to a carbon-free society and economy. Hydrogen is foreseen as one of the most viable clean energy in the future and will see applications in various mobility domains from passenger cars, commercial and industrial vehicles, trains, and ships, as well as stationary electric generators.

The ideal candidate will have experience and a deep interest in energy projects and the energy transition. The candidate should also be interested in developing in combining high-level technical expertise with an understanding of the client’s needs and market trends. To help achieve our vision & mission, we are seeking a highly talented and motivated Energy Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, design, and evaluate innovative hydrogen storage and release solutions.
  • Apply a system engineering mindset with a techno-economic perspective
  • Collaborate with other team members
  • Leverage expertise to develop and advance technologies to address customer needs.
  • Interact with customers to develop meaningful insights and translate them into solutions and ultimately prototypes and commercial offerings.
  • Maintain detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development
  • Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and industry boards to stay up to date on new technologies.
  • Some travel is required

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree in Engineering (e.g. energy, electrical, material, chemical) or related discipline.
  • Passion for mobility, clean-tech and eager to make a carbon-free society a reality.
  • Team player, committed, proactive, autonomous, open-minded and with a sense of ownership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written knowledge in English mandatory
  • Good written and spoken knowledge in French, German, Japanese or any other language is a plus
  • Flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic, small team environment.
