Our vision with Zario is to create the world’s first personalized AI coach to help people reduce unwanted screen time by replacing it with meaningful activities, addressing the needs social media was initially meant to meet.

With 9% of the US population identifying themselves as severely internet and social media addicted, and 30% somehow addicted, we know that there is a massive problem that should be addressed.

We feel that the only way to change these habits is with a tailored & joyful coaching program based on newest research from behavioral psychology. By encouraging people to take on a series of personalized, scientifically backed challenges, Zario will help people regain control over technology and start creating life stories, instead of liking other people’s stories on social media.

We believe that thorough testing with actual users is the only way to succeed. To quickly validate our ideas, we have developed three prototypes in the form of Telegram chatbots, and we’re currently running our 3rd user test with a small number of people - applying the “Mom test”, to make our results unbiased.

We have received very positive feedback and validated that users were willing to pay for our product (by installing a paywall). Currently, we are designing our next test with 100 participants, to have more robust results, before we finalize our high-fidelity wireframes to our MVP App / Zario 1.0. In parallel, we are searching for our CTO.
